Recently, we hosted an exclusive pre-release screening of the AI documentary, THE AI DOC: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist followed by a panel discussion featuring one of the documentary’s Academy Award-winning producer's Jonathan Wang, and NYU professors and authors Jay Van Bavel and Jonathan Haidt, moderated by Center Co-director Anni Sternisko.
We have also hosted two conferences in Florence, Italy. We partnered with The Beacon Project at More in Common to co-host the Moral Responsibility and The Future of Democracy Convening, a three-day gathering of 20 leaders from a diverse range of fields to develop new paradigms for civic life rooted in moral responsibility and pluralism that meet the challenges of the 21st century. Additionally, at The Science of Conflict and Cooperation Conference, 15 top experts in the field of social science came together to advance cutting edge social scientific research on how human cooperation and conflict emerge, persist, and can be better understood.
When our Center holds other events that are open to the public, we post the invitations here and on our newsletter! You can also follow our social media accounts to stay up-to-date on our events.
